UAV Topographical Land Survey
We perform a wide range of high quality mapping & aerial surveys. UAV surveys combining the latest advances in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) with innovative uses of imaging equipment.
UAV Land Surveys are the perfect solution to access high resolution imagery filling in the gaps from other survey methods by providing more recent & more precise data.
Point clouds are used to measure physical world surfaces.Through laser technology, it is possible to survey the spaces in a structure or geographic feature to create a digital 'cloud' of geometrical points. All of this data can then be used to accurately generate the geometric model of the structure .
Orthophotos are aerial photographs with a uniform scale similar to a map. Vertical images are acquired and processed to produce high-resolution orthophotos. The orthophotos can be geo-referenced to a known coordinate system (such as OS National Grid) and overlaid on existing data.
- An orthophoto is a uniform-scale photograph. It is a photographic map.
- Since an orthophoto has a uniform scale, it is possible to measure directly on it like other maps.
- An orthophoto may serve as a base map onto which other map information can be overlaid.
Digital Elevation Models
Stereo images are used to generate detailed Digital Elevation Models (DEM) or 3D representations of the terrain surface. Digital Elevation Models have a level of accuracy comparable with GPS ground-based techniques and can be used for volumetric analysis and visualisation.
Oblique Panoramic Photos
Our GPS guided UAV can be sent to precise locations to acquire images Panoramic images are ideal for site scoping, site overviews, construction progress and marketing.
